Meeting Our Dogs

See our available dog listings online. When you see a dog on our website that looks right for you, contact us by email at info@windhamcountyhumane.org or by phone at 802-254-2232 to schedule an Adoption Appointment. Adoption appointments are on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm! We are happy to do dog-to-dog introductions at our facility if you would like.

Meeting Our “Smallies”

Due to the shelter being renovated, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other small animals available for adoption will be at One Stop Country Pet Supply on Putney Road, Brattleboro, Vermont.  See other animals available for adoption.

Group visits and tours are suspended at this time.

Hours

The shelter is under construction and services are temporarily operating out of a small space with fewer animals on site. Adoptions are by appointment.

Thursday- Wellness Clinic by appointment ONLY
