Two Moms are Even Better Than One!

During the summer I volunteer at WCHS. I first met Bella last summer; she was 2 years old and had come in on a transport from Mississippi. I hadn’ t planned on adopting a dog then because I was about to leave for a vacation in Scotland. I spoke with Kerri about doing a shared adoption and asked my friend Nancy who’d recently lost her dog, if she’d take care of Bella while I was away. So we both adopted her and though she spends most of her time with me, she also sees Nancy as her other mother. - Diana Mazzuchi
