Some thoughts on gratitude
The end of the year is a time for reflection and for giving thanks and we at Windham County Humane Society would like to take a moment to count our blessings:
- We are grateful for every furry hug, slobbery kiss, head boop, and wagging tail.
- We are grateful for second chances.
- We are grateful for each happily ever after.
- We are grateful for the loving volunteers who touch the lives of our animals each day.
- We are grateful for all of our partners - veterinarians, fosters, local businesses, and affiliated rescues.
We are grateful for you, our supportive, caring community.
WCHS is committed to providing the best quality care for every animal that comes through our doors, as well as working to keep animals safe and healthy and in their homes. In 2017, Windham County Humane Society continued to carry out its mission by restoring homeless, sick, hungry, and abandoned animals to lives of health and happiness.
Thank you for being part of this important, life-saving effort. Thank you for raising awareness about animal welfare issues, for sharing posts about adoptable animals on social media, for participating in our events, for donating your time and talent, for supporting individual animals in crisis, and for dropping off dog and cat food and other supplies when we are lowon resources.
As 2017 comes to a close, we ask you to please support our rescue efforts with another generous donation. Your gift makes our work possible by helping to defray the cost of food, essential supplies, medication, and veterinary care for over a thousand animals this year and into the next.
We believe that every animal deserves a safe, loving home, and with your help, we can make that hope a reality. Won't you please consider making a donation to WCHS this holiday season? Every gift is important and every gift makes a difference right away. Thank you for your support.
