Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers

Blog-volunteer.JPG

We could not run the shelter and fulfill our mission without the tireless efforts of countless volunteers, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. From dog walkers to kennel and cage cleaners to cat cuddlers and fosters, all of these willing hands make our work much lighter.

We are sending a special thank you to Rick Westcott for his dedication to maintaining our dog walking trail, whether it be weed whacking or making improvements to the bridge. A man on a mission, without anyone having to ask.

In 2016, volunteer hours at WCHS totaled 3,730. So far this year, 2017 volunteer hours total 3,209.
