From spring through summer, we typically see a decline in adoptions and a rise in animals brought to our shelter – and expenses add up quickly when we’re caring for more animals over a longer period of time. Abandoned cats and starving dogs don’t understand how much it costs to give them a second chance at happiness, or simply a full bowl of food. But you and I do.
