It’s true what they say: our pets leave paw prints on our hearts. They’re the best friends who are never too busy to play. Our favorite buddies to snuggle with after a long day. They attend our weddings, watch over our kids, celebrate each time we walk through the door, and comfort us in times of grief. When we’re forced to part, we carry on with them in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
If you could send a message to your best pal to let them know how much you still love and think about them, we know you would…so we invite you to help us shine a light so bright that it’s felt on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
Please join us for WCHS’s first Pet Remembrance Night & Luminary Ceremony in celebration of the pets we’ve loved and the lives we’ve shared with them.
When: Monday, August 29 from 7-9 p.m.
Where: Welcome reception at River Garden Marketplace (downstairs) beginning at 7 p.m.
Luminary Ceremony display across the street in Pliny Park begins at 8 p.m.
Event Reception: Begin the evening by joining us at the River Garden Marketplace. Bring a photo of your beloved pal to add to the Memory Wall, swap stories with fellow pet lovers, and enjoy drinks and light bites, nibbles, and treats.
Tickets: $25 per person includes one luminary, one drink voucher, and light bites. Additional luminaries may be purchased separately.
Only interested in the Luminary Ceremony?
You can purchase luminaries for the ceremony without attending the reception. A single luminary is $15, and two or more luminaries are $10 each.
