WCHS volunteers are a very important part of our team. They help our staff provide loving care to our animals by performing a wide range of tasks - everything from helping feed and socialize pets to fostering to supporting our fundraising events. We are especially in need of fosters who can help provide short-term care for animals that need a little more individualized care or that are difficult to place.
As a WCHS volunteer, you will make a real difference for our shelter pets. And what could be more fun than spending time with some wonderful critters?
On Monday, May 7th, we are hosting a volunteer orientation at the shelter. The session begins at 6PM. If you are interesting in becoming a hero to homeless pets, we'd love to see you at our training. To sign up, please email nick@windhamcountyhumane.org. You can fill out your volunteer application ahead of time by clicking on this link.
